As a favor to a friend, I was asked to fix a set of resin statues, cuz, I know more or less how to handle resin.
That was about a week ago. Fast forward to today, and I find that I wasn’t handed all the parts to one of the broken statues. Specifically, Dawn Lucifer’s Halo seems to be missing parts of Lucifer’s Halo.
I’ve checked the second statue (Ballistic from Cyber-Force) and she’s a simple pin-and-glue fix to reattach and strengthen both broken ankle and wrist. Thankfully she’s got ALL her pieces.
*sigh* Already asked the friend if they’ve got the missing pieces somewhere… but assured them that even if the pieces don’t turn up, Dawn can still be fixed. It’ll take longer, but it’s still within the realm of possibility.

Blargh. Was looking forward to doing another face-up today… except that it’s been POURING!!!!
Thankfully I was able to work on one the other day. She’s a DD-08, originally wasn’t an eye-hole head, but I opened those up and she came out totally adorable! At least I think she is. <3
