I’m sure that everyone noticed that the updates stopped for a while. My husband and I live in Puerto Rico. Sorry for the disruption on comic page posting!
Not going to go into the horror story that surviving Hurricane Maria was… it was pretty bad. Not gonna lie about that. But thankfully for as bad as it was, it could have been even worse.
Internet is still on the spazzy side. Which is completely understandable since electricity still hasn’t returned to the entire island. My own father (79yrs old) is still without power. Thankfully he’s got some solar panels and an electric generator to keep the house going. My husband’s parents are also without power, but they’ve got two generators (one which is primarily used to keep the fridge running).
So yeah. Just letting my readers know, we’re alive and relatively good. Woot!

Good news is that there really wasn’t a lot of damage to my area… and I got water and electricity back within about 24hrs. Internet connection was slightly glitchy for a few days after, but, it could have been a LOT worse. Trust me, I’ve been watching what’s been going on in the other islands, and I’m grateful that nothing that bad happened to Puerto Rico.
For fun, here’s a set of little books that I’ve been playing around making. They are around 2.5inches wide. I think they work best for MSD and Yo-SD sizes. <3
