Oh nuuuuuuuu!!! Someone snapped? Yikes!

Little known fact, the older 60cm obitsus suffered from the dreaded waist-snap. This was because that particular joint was overstressed, and as such, if the doll was mishandled, it could break. It’s not hard to replace the joint. Between Omi and Seiki, that piece had to be replaced about five times. Newer 50cm (and shorter) bodies don’t have this issue.

The 60cm waist-snap can be avoided by grabbing the 60cm obitsu by the hips instead of the waist when moving the legs. Doing this, you aren’t putting all the stress on the prone piece. ^.~
